Beginning in 1881, Pictou County began manufacturing glass tableware. Three companies in Pictou County were producing glass products during the 1890s. Their pressed glass tableware pieces became collectable in the 1960s. However, identification can be tricky. We can find no evidence that the factory named its patterns or marked any of its pieces.
